Beginning in the Summer of 2009, we will be traveling across America to visit a wide variety of people, businesses, and projects that are all working toward using sustainable practices and reducing their impact on the planet.This will include intentional living communities, organic farms, retail businesses, manufacturers, research and experimental facilities, and just plain gypsies! In addition to high visibility projects like Brad Pitt's efforts to rebuild parts of New Orleans, the green rebuild of Greensburg, Kansas after its tragic destruction, and the zero waste Subaru factory in Indiana, we will also attempt to uncover some of the unsung heroes of the green movement who are all working in different ways to change the way we see the world. We will explore in depth the diversity of things going on in this country through the private sector that can help drive a sustainable future.On the way, we will have an opportunity to speak directly to a broad cross section of people out there that are trying to make a difference.Interviews and visits will be available through our blog and website as well as on YouTube, Facebook, CNN iReports, and other local and national media outlets.
